Care for all
capital campaign
Expanding Access • Changing Lives
The CARE for ALL Capital Campaign is a three-year campaign. While our needs are immediate, our goal is attainable. Those donating to the campaign may complete their commitment as a one-time gift, three-year commitment, or a payment schedule that is appropriate for them personally. These payment schedules are available to meet the total $2 million campaign goal.
Expanding Access • Changing Lives
Care for All – at AllWays Community Health Center our mission is to provide outstanding medical, dental, and behavioral care for all, regardless of their ability to pay. We are expanding our services by opening an additional clinic in downtown Atchison. This new facility enables us to serve even more people, adding patient rooms and expanded space for our providers. Perhaps the most significant improvement: our new location is in the heart of town, making our services more accessible.
By expanding to our new location, we will have the capacity to offer up to 28% more visits each year.
45% of ACHC patients are uninsured and 24% are at or below the poverty level – the good news is that at ALLWAYS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, insurance and income status are never an impediment to those in need of care. This is possible because of you!
The CARE FOR ALL Capital Campaign will complete the renovation of our new Downtown Atchison facility. Through the efforts of our outstanding staff, board of directors, and friends in our community, we have been able to raise $1.25 million of our $2 million dollar need. We are seeking your assistance in raising an additional $750,000 to complete this new facility. This will have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of our patients and our community. We humbly ask that you help us complete this effort; thank you for your consideration.

How did you become Allways Community Health Center?
Atchison Community Health Clinic became a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2015, founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. In 2024, we were honored to welcome two Caritas Clinics—St. Vincent’s Clinic in Leavenworth and Marian Dental Clinic in Topeka—into our organization. Then, in January 2025, we proudly came together under one name, one mission, and one vision. United, we are stronger—driven by a shared commitment to compassionate, accessible care for all, regardless of ability to pay.
Why are you having a capital campaign?
Over the last eight years, ACHC has seen a steady increase in visits and patients served. The CARE for ALL Capital Campaign will provide the resources needed to renovate the newly purchased facility in Downtown Atchison. This new location will increase accessibility for patients.
What does Expanding Care mean?
Nine additional exam rooms will provide space for more patients and visits. This new facility will increase operational efficiency, improving and expanding patient care and comfort. The facility will be the central location for primary care and mental health services, while the current facility will primarily provide dental services.
There has been ongoing discussion of ACHC’s expansion. Is it now underway?
Construction and renovation has begun – we are moving forward. ACHC expects to complete the project by Spring of 2026. It’s right around the corner. We ask you to help us make that possible.
How is ACHC funded?
ACHC receives funding through federal grants, foundational grants, donations, and patient service revenue. ACHC offers services on a sliding scale based on patient needs, and we provide care regardless of financial circumstances or insurance/Medicaid status. ACHC is the only FQHC in northeast Kansas and next closest ones will be Douglas and Shawnee Counties, which opens the door for specific grant opportunities.
